Chennai Turbo Riders and JK Tyre have signed the agreement that brings the CTR–JK Tyre FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship to life — India's biggest multi-category national car racing championship, sanctioned by the FMSCI.

"From competing on the track to organizing the nation's biggest racing spectacle—CTR is proud to lead the CTR JK Tyre FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship 2026. This is more than a championship; it's the beginning of a new era for Indian motorsport." said Dr. Swetha Sundeep Anand, Director, CTR (Chennai Turbo Riders).

A single grid for the whole country

Seven racing categories — from Formula 4 machinery to saloons, hatchbacks and touring cars — will line up under one national banner across a four-round calendar at Kari Motor Speedway, Bren Raceway and the Madras International Circuit.

"From taking the track in 2022 to partnering with the legendary JK Tyre for the CTR–JK Tyre FMSCI Indian National Car Racing Championship 2026—this is only the beginning. My ambition is simple: race by race, more young racers, more teams, and many more women drivers ruling the track." added Dr. J. L. Sri Rakshika, Director, CTR.

Every round will be carried live on OTT with full onboard coverage. The 2026 season opens at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, on 11–13 September.
